we are a birmingham based, artist-led record label and production company existing to make the creation of original music viable for artists

born in 2019, we strive to give artists the tools and platform required to make an impact in the ever-evolving landscape of independent music. we aim to build a community for musicians and music lovers in which we can share, collaborate, and celebrate. as costs soar across all aspects of life, having the time and resources to create is becoming an ever-more distant reality. iola is committed to enabling artists this time and facility to work through the creative process and emerge on the other side with and end result that may otherwise be unfeasible.

our main output is currently through our series of live sessions called ‘the nomad sessions’, matching up stunning music to stunning locations. In addition to this we also produce albums and eps, create films, and host gigs. join our mailing list to be the first to know about upcoming releases and gigs, and subscribe to our youtube for music videos, live sessions, and more. we record and film as much as we can, so there is always something new to discover.
